1. Introduction

Welcome to Seatcheck. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Seatcheck website and services at seatcheck.io (the "Service"), operated by Seatcheck ("we", "our", or "us").

By accessing or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Service.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes.

2. Description of Service

Seatcheck provides flight seat information and configuration detection services for British Airways flights. Our Service allows users to:

• Check aircraft cabin configurations for specific flights
• View live seat availability information
• Access fleet guides and seat intelligence

We source flight data from third-party providers and airline schedules. While we strive for accuracy, we cannot guarantee that all information is complete, current, or error-free.

3. User Accounts

3.1 Account Creation

To access certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep your account information updated.

3.2 Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised access or use of your account.

3.3 Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion.

4. Subscription Plans

4.1 Free Plan

The free plan includes 3 flight lookups per calendar month. Free plan users have access to full configuration detection and fleet guides.

4.2 Pro Plan

The Pro plan provides unlimited flight lookups and additional features including live seat availability. Pro subscriptions are billed monthly or annually as selected at the time of purchase.

4.3 Billing

All payments are processed securely through Stripe. By subscribing to a paid plan, you authorise us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel. Prices are displayed in GBP and include VAT where applicable.

4.4 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting us. Upon cancellation, you will retain access to Pro features until the end of your current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial billing periods.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service or its systems
• Use automated systems, bots, or scrapers to access the Service without our express permission
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers connected to the Service
• Reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell, or exploit any portion of the Service without our express written permission
• Share your account credentials with others or allow multiple users to access the Service through a single account
• Use the Service in any manner that could damage, disable, or impair the Service

6. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Seatcheck and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the Service without our express permission.

British Airways and associated trademarks are the property of British Airways Plc. Seatcheck is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by British Airways.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.

We make no representations or warranties regarding:

• The accuracy, completeness, or reliability of flight or seat information
• The availability of specific aircraft configurations on any given flight
• The accuracy of seat availability data, which may change at any time

Flight configurations and seat availability are subject to change by airlines without notice. You should always verify important information directly with the airline before making travel decisions.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SEATCHECK SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES.

Our total liability for any claims arising from or relating to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or £50, whichever is greater.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Seatcheck and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

10. Third-Party Services

The Service may contain links to third-party websites or services that are not owned or controlled by Seatcheck. We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party websites or services.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

12. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

13. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Seatcheck regarding the Service and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
